A denim dress is a great smart-casual number with the added bonus of being virtually ageless, mine is from Marks and Spencers and I've accessorised it with my new Prada fabric belt. Wear it with heels and a designer bag in the city, or with wedges and a trilby hat on holiday. Here some more of my internet finds.
